The lead up to the presentation:

We had a twin celebration of the unveiling of the memorial stone to Dr. John Rae in Westminster Abbey.
One in Kirkwall and the other in Westminster.
Here are some pictures of the service in Kirkwall at John Rae's grave in St. Magnus Cathedral.
